My son and I have traveled up and down the east and west coasts trying gyms out along the way. This was one of his favorites. We really liked the equipment and layout of this gym. He is more of a powerlifter, so this gym really worked for him.
Great place with wide variety of equipment. G is a great personal trainer who brings enthusiasm to every workout!
Originally I’m from NJ, was visiting VA for the American Pro and I’m beyond happy being able to have found this gym! If I was ever able to live out in VA, Tyson’s Playground would be my go-to home gym! G was beyond nice and his hospitality was second to none! I cannot recommend this gym more if you’re traveling to VA and trying to find a gym, it’s not just powerlifting but even has equipment for athletes, body builders, anyone into fitness.
