First of all let me point out this was my BIRTHDAY DINNER and it completely ruined the mood for my night. We’ve been coming to Iron Age since 2021, so this was honestly really disappointing for me. This time, we were a party of 5, but our “fifth person” was our 17-month-old son. He did not order a meal or have his own check. He simply ate a few bites from my plate. We showed up at 9:45 to be seated. I phoned ahead and was told they seat until 11:00 and open until midnight. At 10:30 we were told to make final choices on our all you can eat bbq. They explained it was slow so the kitchen was closing and we were rushed out. The last drink refills we asked for arrived in take out cups. Staff was rude and refills bowls you are eating from if you want fresh sides. They only let you order 2 meats at a time and you can’t reorder until you finish what you are eating. Had a great time catching up with a friend. Everything was good on the menu except for the shrimp (had shells and veins), waiter was good, had no wait for the line. Good atmosphere and prices. The issue came when I got an additional charge in my balance (not on the receipt). My total was around $60, I left a $15 tip but they ended up charging me $118 instead of around $75 so my best guess is that they forged a $60 tip instead of the $15 tip which is really unfortunate.
