Had a great time a few years ago hoping to go back this year I pray they are still accepting guests though
Well I'm about 10 years late but this place is amazing!! It was the perfect price perfect spot. Woke up the first night and walked out to see about 8 deer in the front yard. It's just the perfect getaway.
Have stayed in several times. Beautiful inside and out with great views.
Pro Tip: Their online booking does not actually book. You have to call them to finalize. So skip the online booking and just call. Cons: The whole place smells like smoke. To the point where I had a headache/migraine the whole time I was inside. The water also smells strongly of sulfur/rotten eggs. But they do provide a water cooler. Pros: Clean, lots of appliances/cooking equipment, convenient location, lots of towels, lots of space, fire pit, picnic table, hot tub, and decent size bed for 2 people.
They didn't honor their reservation system. Luckily we called to find out that we really didn't have a reservation, even though we had an email that said we did.
