I would highly, highly recommend staying away from Dr. Iris Roberts’ optometry practice within the LensCrafters at Roosevelt Field Mall. First, I was seen incredibly late and received zero apology for the thirty minute delay. The volume of patients is way too high to receive proper individual attention. I felt that Dr. Roberts is more about money-making and is a sales woman more than she is an optometrist. I’ve been going to Dr. Roberts for about 4 years now. She’s fantastic and the service there at her office in the Roosevelt Field Lenscrafters is almost amazing and friendly! Questions asked And answered skillfully and orders are made and get to me quickly!
Usually I get my eyes examined when I need new glasses. My last visit was something I did not expect. Dr. Roberts did her normal complete exam but this time it was different. She was asking many questions because she found something that needed further testing and referred me to a opthamologist who found that I had a problem with my left eye. Luckily it was caught early without any damage. I am very grateful for her compassion and follow through. I highly recommend her for all your eyecare needs.
