I went to IRIS in August 2026 to shop for 2 pair of prescription eyeglasses. It was my first time at this dispensary. I usually purchase directly from my optometrist every 2 years but was looking for a wider variety of frames. We were greeted by Neer who offered to help me navigate their current stock including sunglasses. Neer was excellent: professional, knowledgeable, tactful and personable! Edit /update added: Do NOT recommend IRIS and reducing my star rating now to 1, although no star is deserved. So I ended up talking to the manager as per below response which was totally useless. I also found later on that Dr Roth lied about something in my report when I received after my original post so wanted to add this here. He said I did not want to go back for follow up etc as though I am not a compliant patient. He wrote this on initial report which is false presentation of information. I had a very positive experience at Iris. Dr. Eric Roth was professional, thorough, and took the time to complete a comprehensive eye examination while listening to my concerns. I appreciated that he explained things clearly and made sure my vision needs were properly assessed. The staff were welcoming, patient, and friendly throughout my visits. I love going to Iris in Welland. The optometrist is caring, very knowledgeable and is a great listener. They have the latest in technology and Dr. Pelletier is excellent at communicating my results . The staff who conduct the tests are efficient and skilled as well. It is a seamless process and I feel privileged to be a patient there.
