I can’t say enough about Dr Irina Shur. She has been my primary care physician for over three years now and contrary to the terrible state of the medical profession, she remains an old fashioned internist. Generous with her time, her observations and her advice, I have never felt rushed or shortchanged during our visits. The only reason I continue to go to Montefiore Medical is because she is there. She has one of the best demeanors and treats me like a person instead of cattle.
I have been a patient of Dr. Irina Shur for 20+ years. She is an excellent doctor. She identified my cancer and recommended the best specialist to make sure my care was seamless. She literally calls other doctors in front of me if their offices do not give me timely appointments. Dr. Shur is attentive and makes sure that I’m doing what I need to do as a patient.
