If you are from the Islands, you're not going to like the food. I don't know too many Caribbean people who eat grits or hummus. This is no longer a Caribbean restaurant. It's an American/Greek.
The food was great but the service sucks. We had to wait about an hour before the waiter came back to give us our check. We had a big party but still the wait time was HORRIBLE!!! Come here when you feel like waiting forever on service.
Great drinks and great spicy foods in a nice atmosphere. Terrific staff, too.
I enjoyed a really WONDERFUL dinner!!!! I swore shrimp and grits DID NOT go together......but soooooo happy I tried it. It was an amazing beautiful delicious dish!! Our waitress was PHENOMENAL!! I wish, I remembered her name so I could shout her out! She was so pleasant, well-mannered, extremely attentive and allowed me to sample a lamb dish that my dinner mate ended up ordering. She was an absolute jewel!! Loved the decor and music. If you live in the area make it a POINT to dine there, you won't be disappointed!!
Food was excellent! So happy the cafe is open for lunch and dinner...too bad there's no happy hour, that would make the dining experience perfect. I first came back in 2014 and since then there's been some changes. Love the renovations, keep it up! ;)
