I must say. I love Irene's. Over the years, they have treated me to some lowkey amazing dishes. I'm a man who enjoys variety, and Irene's offers many different options. I love the chicken cutlet sandwich, the pizza, the alfredo, and even just a sandwich with some bacon. Consistency is key, and they are certainly consistent. Just wanted to thank the folks over there for holding it down.
Great mom and Pop place. The staff is very attentive. The service is very good. The meatballs were phenomenal. I am from out of town and I appreciate the great service and food quality I received here.
Had a large tuna sandwich. It was packed full of tuna fish, and tasted fresh. The only downside was that there wasn’t any flavor. No salt, pepper, or any other seasoning. Kind of bland but very filling. A large can feed 2 people. I have worked in the food industry for years and have developed a keen sense of taste. Seasoning is a thing that I do for everything, especially tuna salad. Onion, garlic, paprika, or even some Old Bay seasoning is a must. My experience of their service was I ordered small pepperoni pizza and a cheesesteak grinder and I paid with a debit card and they asked for the information on the card but they did not ask for the address when asking if it was pick up or delivery
