My husband had to have double hernia surgery and Dr.Irene Ulm performed it. I can't say enough great things about her and her staff. They kept me informed during the whole procedure. She has the best bedside manner and stays and talks to you about everything. From the beginning in her office until after the procedure. We were very blessed to have her. She is definitely an asset to the medical field.
I was really happy to discover Dr Ulm and her experience with the Da Vinci robotic surgery system. 2 weeks post op after she repaired 2 inguinal and 1 umbilical hernias during the same surgery, I feel amazing with little to no pain. I highly recommend her even if you are referred to another surgeon for her opinion.
Dr Ulm is hands down one of the best surgeons in the Mid-South. She is so very compassionate, actually listens to her patients and ALWAYS there when needed.
Dr. Ulm is an exceptional surgeon who truly cares about her patients. She takes the time to explain every detail, helps you make informed decisions, and treats you like family—not just a number. Her kindness, compassion, and dedication go far beyond the norm. Truly an angel in scrubs!
