I've done a lot of "work" to recover from my childhood, addictions and trauma and I truly believe that Ira's teachings and psychotherapy work can help heal the world. He's super empathetic and also practical. Even though he deals with heavy issues, he has a lightness and sense of joy about him that makes doing the work with him enjoyable. I highly recommend working with Ira, getting his books, and reading his blogs. You will be inspired, healed and you may even find yourself more joyful too!
Ira is a very skilled, experienced and a knowledgeable therapist. He is very talented and his articles and videos have a powerful message. It is worth a read. I would recommend booking a session with him! He is very helpful as a community member to other people.
I had my first session with Ira, as someone that doesn’t love going to therapy I was a little apprehensive but within seconds that feeling disappeared. Ira was warm, friendly and got straight to the point. I left feeling like I had a whole new bunch of tools to work with to help me move forward. I hope to go back to him to continue the work and make further improvements as things develop. Don’t look anywhere else, you have found your person. Highly recommend!
The course challenged me to examine long-held patterns, understand myself with greater compassion, and develop a stronger sense of awareness in my relationships and daily life. Ira has a gift for explaining complex emotional and psychological concepts in a way that is accessible, engaging, and actionable.
Ira is a great speaker. He illuminated on topics that could be dry or heavy (how we reenact childhood trauma through relationships, the paths to meaning and happiness) in an accessible, down-to-earth to way while also being entertaining and engaging. If you have the chance to book him as a speaker or attend one of his events, I highly recommend it!
