Just for anyone else trying to book a 120k service at VW Ipswich using Volkswagen's website... To me it is pretty clear that it should include supply and fitment of the timing belt, the wording of the website is "perform all maintenance items as specified in the service schedule" which includes toothed belt at 120k. However they will provide you an additional quotation of over $1300 in addition to the $1488 for the labour and "repair kit". Beware of the con and don't get caught....
Do not recommend service centre is not helpful at all. Fault with the Park break but can’t see me for over six weeks. Always having problems with the service centre from The start really done with this company
If I could give a minus 5 star I would, dealt with Jason and was very unreliable with communication and giving you an answer gor the basic questions. When I arrived at dealership not even offered to look at some cars I was keen on, only wanted to sort out finance so I would not waste his time on a car I may not be able to afford. Too bad I was not looking for finance of any kind and actually had $60k cash to spend. Was discussed in how I was treated and walked out crying and went and bought a car from down the road.
Absolutely terrible service. Do not take your car here, drive the extra distance to another service centre. Staff are always sick so your car doesn’t get worked on. 6 working days and still not fixed. Pulled apart my engine and put back together wrong now needs to be pulled apart again to do it properly. More time without my car. And no confidence in there so called mechanics. Keep getting excuses that staff are away sick so it hasn’t been looked at or has taken longer than planned.
