I attended Ipswich Kia (Bundamba) for my annual service on 30 March 2026 and was disappointed with both the service advice and customer experience. In 2025, I was told I needed four new tyres. A second opinion confirmed I still had around 10,000 km of tread remaining. At my recent service, I was then advised I needed a wheel alignment, despite having one completed less than two weeks earlier. A follow-up check confirmed no issues. Generally friendly staff who can explain all clearly. Great with updating customers & taking care of their needs. Love that they are able to accommodate as much as possible when needing car back asap for work reasons etc.
Took my kia there to get a quote on getting my cam and rocker replaced, as I'd taken my car to a mechanic previously and was told this is the issue, I let them know of the issue and I just wanted a quote on the replacement/repair of the known issue but they started doing test and assessments on the car when I already told them of the issue they started looking at other things instead of going straight to the cam like i had asked. Very pleasant arrival.
I had my vehicle serviced here a year ago, and I felt the service and overall experience were very good. However, this time the experience wasn’t very satisfactory. When I opened the car door, I found a red cleaning cloth left inside. In addition, after I drove home, I noticed a large black oil stain on the center armrest. The vehicle was also not cleaned. I probably won’t be coming back next time. The experience was very disappointing.
