Waited for 5 hours and staff kept saying it will be soon. My pain wend worst and after waiting 5 hours I decided to go back home and nurse said it's not a prison you are welcome to wait here or U can go home. So I chose to go home instead of waiting unlimited hours. Worst health system ever seen in my life. And it was emergency department seen a lady crying with pain and she was there before me
Melissa from Reception provided very poor customer service — she hung up the call before the conversation was even finished. Terrible
The hospital needs infrastructure and funding for more staffs. The staffs are overloaded government should fix the medical system. The while Queensland health is falling apart.
I just had a five day stay, l arrived Sunday morning, with serious heart problem, no wait, put into ed cubicle and doctors, nurses got straight to work. Not only did they sort out the immediate problem but found another serious problem l had no knowledge off. Thanks to there dedication l now have a chance fixing, and overcoming the illness. I can't say enough about the nursing staff, they showed kindness and genuine care to all patents, nothing was too much trouble, everyone l had contact with acted with great professionalis... read more
Was told if I didn't have surgery on hand that worst case scenario was death I obviously said pls do.... Now at 48hrs later and still no surgery I asked for a social worker to help me with my anxiety and mental health now nearly 48hrs again and still not heard from anyone.. no surgery... No social worker help..... No nothing.. Utterly disgusting! Just get passed back and forth between the different shifts. Years later back to edit post. Wow this place is next lvl careless. Avoid at all costs. Tell family and friends to avoid... read more
