Amazing racecourse
Fantastic day out at ippy cup
Unfortunately our first trip to the races happened to coincide with Spring Cup (AKA especially loud 20/30-ish year olds drinking too much too quickly, not interested in watching any horse racing day) event. *Five stars because of grounds & location * Highlights: speaking with the male marshall/retrainer near the stables. The venue itself: beautiful, well-kept grounds. Fantastic handy location! Rider/horse safety accountable: hence racing abandoned after R4. Lowlights: so many drunk, loud obnoxious people.
