I took my daughter to IPPMC for physical therapy and for a sports related injury. IPPMC was professional and the facility is absolutely beautiful. They offer every aspect needed for injury...state of the art gym, therapeutic pool, hot tub, MRI lab, and the staff from Dr. Kowalkowski to the staff who welcomes you to IPPMC was great! This place is still running because of staff, physical therapy, reception, nurse, not this Dr. K(wack). I was/am a kind, light hearted person, I’m 50 years old he told me, after tearing the cartilage in my hip, in excruciating pain 12/10 like that if I’m going to see him I need to act socially acceptable. I went there for over a year and within a year they did at least 20 injections in my back none in which lasted longer than a day. They also did for MRIs. So if you have a good insurance they will be more than happy to put 20 injections and you and rack up the insurance bill.
I read some of the bad reviews and being a patient of IPPMC I thought it would be better to put my opinion towards IPPMC and Dr. K. I have been treated with dignity and honor. Dr. K was the person who has treated me and made my life a lot better. He knows his stuff. I was recommended by colleague to visit Dr. K. After his strong recommendation, I came to IPPMC to treatment. After consulting with Dr. K, my whole life has changed a lot. I don't have to depend on my family members for daily activities. I was in pain for 15 years. I have gone to different doctors and told there was nothing wrong or anything they could do. I was taking up to 16 Vicodin a day to cover my pain and it was not helping. I came to IPPMC. Since I have been here I have been much pain free.I have been able to do things that I have not done that in five years. I would recommend anyone to come here.
I feel pain free for the first time in six years, unbelievable. My body feels light, I am not under stress, my blood pressure is 129/84. I do not need those strong pain medications like OxyContin and Percocet. I am able to sleep through the night for eight hours for the first time in years. My attitude has improved and I am able to function at a normal level and it is also better for my children because I am not irritated and distracted with pain.
My wife & I agree with all of the negative reviews & experiences with DR. K. I went there 2 months ago for pain in my thoracic area just below a 3 level neck fusion. We met with him for 1 hour and at least 50 minutes of my time was spent listening to him bash the Centra Care Hospital System. Along with many of its Doctors for not referring patients to his clinic.
