I have been with IP Works Law for almost three years now. Yes the patent process is a tedious one, but I couldn't imagine going through this process with any other team. I consider them family for although this is a business relationship, a meaningful relationship has been established. It's from the top down. I’m very disappointed with my experience with this firm. I initially started my trademark application on my own and worked through multiple USPTO refusals until there was only one issue remaining. At that point I was advised that the response would require complex legal wording and that attempting it myself would likely lead to another refusal. Catherine and team failed my small business. They charged $4,000 to respond to office actions or emails. They caused my patent to not get approved. They butchered the patent application. If you are sold on Catherine's story, I was too, and then it cost my small business $20,000. I had to switch firms. I wish I had the resources to come after them for damages.
