I have been coming to the Recovery Room for the last 3 years, utilizing the sauna, float tank and individual yoga/pilates services. The space is clean, clearly sanitary and the staff have been an excellent resource for information. Every interaction I have had has been professional. Patrick is a wonderful and knowledgeable resource. He has always been available to answer questions and he communicates well. I would encourage you to visit and enjoy the Iowa Recovery Room!

I love this place. Mary has been my yoga instructor for years and I followed her to the Iowa Recovery Room. I have enjoyed yoga, massage and floating here. This place embodies everything you could want when it comes to wellness and your well being. Patrick and Mary will make you feel welcome and cared for during your visit. I am very grateful to have found them here.

I discovered the Iowa Recovery Room 3 years ago, and am I ever glad I did. This place is the best! The facilities, services offered, cleanliness, friendliness of the owner and staff. All first-class. Patrick is a superb -- knowledgeable, polite, eager to meet individual needs -- while being low key, calm and always respectful. Thank you Patrick and Mary for always making me feel better. Every. Single. Time.

I was looking for a place to do a sauna in Iowa City. first the positive: - inexpensive - very clean Negative: the owner, Patrick first comes a cross as very polite, quiet, and "mindful". YES MINDFUl, this is his favorite word. very soon you realize you are dealing with a straight-up creeper. after 1st sauna session, I was told to be " mindful" of the fact that the floors are not waterproofed...
