I have been going to One Medical Seniors on McKellips since it was Iora. Now I’m assigned to Don Copeland who is a nice enough man but not a very good medical professional. When I saw him last Jan I had specific blood tests I wanted. He told me he’d do the basics first. There was no vit D done even though I spend most of my time in AK and 2 years ago was put on bone meds for osteoporosis. Today I had a very humbling an discouraging experience. A eye exam was to be examed. A way to high chair was supplied which puts the patient in an very uncomfortable position. In my case it even caused some back pain. In addition, the medical assistant had problems to operate the equipment. That caused to be unnecessary longer in that uncomfortable position. I have been going to this office from the 1st day it opened as IORA. Donald Copeland, Nurse Practitioner is very unprofessional and rude if you disagree with him. He thinks his opinion is the only correct opinion. Other than that I appreciate all the staff and the ease of getting check ups, lab work on site, and prescriptions filled.
I have been going to this office from the 1st day it opened as IORA. Donald Copeland, Nurse Practitioner is very unprofessional and rude if you disagree with him. No one ever answers phone and when you leave a message nobody calls you back. The customer service has continually become worse over the past year.
