I was not happy with the care that I received from Iora/One Medical. I had an issue and I contacted them. It took 2 or 3 days before anyone called me back. By that time, I was over whatever was bothering me. I was referred to a specialist and when I got my results, I contacted them to make an appointment. I missed my appointment because I was not notified, like most dr's offices do, that I had an upcoming appointment. When I spoke with the person at the clinic, she wanted to know if I wanted to make another appointment ... read more
When I first went to Iora Care I was a happy camper. My doctor was awesome. Within like a year and half, he'd left. I didn't click with his replacement and moved to another office per a recommendation from my insurance agent. I liked her well enough but, you guessed it, within like a year or 2, she was gone. I went thru a couple more like that. One I mentioned that she was like my 4th or 5th doctor. She said 'Well, I think we can do something about that. Don't worry!" She was gone in a month. The next doctor told m... read more
This location is very unresponsive with their patient portals. Ninety percent of the time you don't get a person when you call. You leave a message and it takes days to get a call back. Three referrals they have made have been to no avail as all three of them did"t take my insurance. I went to the patient portal, left a message saying they didn't take my insurance and it has been 9 days with no reply. Looking for better health professionals
One Medical acquired Iora Primary Care on September 1, 2021. Why were we not informed of this?
I am an Iora patient. I wanted to get an appointment with my doctor. I called and left a message. I called the second day and left a message. I called later in the day and connected with a person and told him why I called. I would like to get an appointment with my doctor. Your doctor has taken another position in the company. Could I speak with his replacement? She is going out on maternity leave. Could I speak to her backup? Well, that hasn't been arraigned yet. I could get you with your health coach. OK, connect me with ... read more
This review is for IORA primary care in Sugarland, Texas. I am over 65 and a diabetic patient since diagnosed in 1989. I was with IORA for over 7 months this year. I got check up on my first visit. All quarterly diabetic care were, take blood sample; send results to me by email and a text message. During pandemic, all adults in our age group are considered high risk with any health issues like diabetes. Never saw my PCP during any quarterly diabetic follow ups. When confronted, answer was, “we don’t see a need to see patient... read more
I am definitely a "cheerleader" for Iora Primary Care. If you are a patient who truly can appreciate medical care that you can brag to your friends about, then Iora is that medical facility. My first positive encounter with Iora was in the Mableton, Georgia facility. My primary care physician now, is Dr. Balakumar, at the Marietta office. The Doctor and staff are very responsive to my medical concerns. As such, I strongly recommend Iora to patients looking for a medical facility where the Doctor and staff are genuinely conce... read more
Been using iORA for one year. A comedy of errors
I don't recommend IORA to Medicare patients. I recently fell and thought I had broken a few ribs. I called the office to ask for an order for an X-ray. My health coach forwarded my request to my doctor who said that there was nothing they could do for my ribs. She suggested I take Advil or Tylenol. I asked again and received the same answer, so I called the following Monday and begged for an X-ray. My doctor finally ordered one. I had broken three ribs and had some fluid in my lung as well. A nurse that worked with one of ... read more
