Reception staff are rude, they don't relay messages to the doctor and they lia to cover there incompatance, doctors appointments are never on time at All. I also have been bulk bill due to the incompetence reception start no relaying correct messages to the doctors ALSO on several occasions, as a very poor effort on surgery performance 20 minutes up to an hour wait at times sometimes even longer, which is a truly poor effort for a doctor's and staff of Iona medical services, extremely disappointed that they never took any of... read more
Reception staff are liars, and don't pas on correct information to doctors, as service is very unreliable as can wait 20 minutes up 2 hours for actual surgery appointment and this is not including phone appointments as I have wait over 6 hours plus even a day without contact especially when reception made it very clear that i had to make appointments well before I ran out of medication which they were extremely rude about ALSO! It’s an ok place if you’re looking for a family doctor. Our doc is very knowledgeable, kind and professional in her field. I trust her completely with our care. But then also rarely available so there’s that. But you can still book in with others who are available on days you need. There’s bulk billing. Lots of sitting in the waiting area. Nurses are very helpful and nice as well. Great doctors, but when you get a call telling you you take too much of their time from reception because you need repeat prescriptions, they make you feel very unwanted, especially when you are already on a mental health plan and antidepressants
Saw Dr Ria Pai today about an illness. She didn't listen to my symptoms and concerns properly as it was easier to just say it was the same thing that was going around at the time. Didn't even listen to my chest despite having a nasty cough. Didn't give me anything for my constant vomiting and told me to take panadol for my extreme muscle and joint pain, despite me telling her it did nothing. Just another doctor that's only there for the pay day. Why should we pay for this sub standard service?
