I went to see Dr. Smith as a VA community referral. She is truly a great doctor and her staff does a fantastic job of communication through the MyChart app (highly highly recommend spending the time to set that up right when you start working with them). I ended up needing a colonoscopy, which I was very nervous about, but the UT Southwest Surgery Center made that nervousness go away quickly with the professional level of communication to me about what each step would be like and the timelines for me to expect.
