My ute is fixed. I think I found a good mechanic to replace my old mechanic, who I think has gone into retirement mode. Dave and his crew did a heap of work, and replaced a heap of parts for $1800 bucks. Kept in touch with me the whole time as to what was going on. It was a seriously big repair job, yet Dave and his crew persisted. I'll be going back to these blokes again I think Top job..
Took my car there for inspection they tried getting me on $5000 worth of repairs took it to another place they said the stuff they’re trying to get me on doesn’t need repairing so I got another quote took it back there they replaced my tyres after I just fixed my brake pads they still charged me for 4 brake pads and tyres and now my brake pads are basically scratching everytime I put my foot on the brakes after I fixed them myself don’t recommend taking car there very dodgy. Took car for loud aeroplane noise in the front end centre of my car, which got worse with speed. Had a video an all. I don't believe they did a great job investing sound, and settled on the first rattle sound even though i said its worse at speed/when car is warm. I doubt he even took the car out of the shop. He settled on adjusting a heat sheid for $70 told me the sound will prob come back becasue its still loose?..sound came back that day.
