Perfect little shop to get great stuff
I was delighted to stop by Inwood Gourmet :) They had a great selection and great prices. Sweet and quiet little shop tucked away on a side street, kind and friendly owner - highly recommend!
Basil olive oil, salts from all the regions of Greece, the cheese that you heat and serve without the bread, really good garlic, the best-stuffed grape leaves... they have all those things and more.
Lauren and her family team take cheese - and knowledge about it -- to a nuanced foodie level without losing awareness of the importance of supporting small artisan enterprises. Their fresh baked traditional Greek treats and olive oils (truffle infused, for example) are just a bit of it. We drop in as much as we can and find hand hewn wood bowls and ceramics made in Greece there for gifting at holiday times or if a wedding comes along. Lauren is fun to chat with and highly knowledgeable about her gourmet goods.
Friendly atmosphere where neighbors meet. Fabulous food selection. cheeses, fresh produce for your order, fresh muffins on Friday, a wonderful trendy little Shop

Wonderful gem of a place with a fantastic selection of tasty things. The cheeses are always a delight - great treats for ourselves and our guests alike! Three cheers to Lauren!!
