Tech was amazing. We talked hair—hers gorgeous, pert, pretty, highlighted, & mine, daring-to-be-grey with purple extensions, and she adjusted my positioning in the machine expertly, kindly, attentively. Such human-to-human healing touch!
This is a for-profit medical industry who clearly put profits in front of patient care. First, I had my annual mammogram and bone dexa studies. They didn't report the bone dexa study for over a month and my PCP got them only when I contacted my PCP who in turn contacted them for the results. They performed my mammogram, but without providing a formal interpretation (my PCP got a report saying this), recommended that I go on for additional diagnostic studies, which I would then have to pay out of pocket. Check your costs before you pay their exorbitant fees. Also be careful when filling out their forms, they will not use the information to your benefit. They will mis-code your tests, have you trying to duke it out with your insurance company. When you contact customer service you will likely be given false information and shoved the rug. Buyer beware!. There are plenty of other choices for imaging. Don't learn the hard way like I did:(
