Incredible soaring experience! Not sure why google thinks we are a skydiver operation. (We are not!) we are a gliding operation! Come out and check out a glider flight!
I was passing through and thought to stop by the Soaring Centre in hopes of a last minute discovery flight. So glad I did! We were up for an hour catching thermals up to 9,500'. Incredible views! I wish I lived in this area to take lessons. Everyone who has the slightest interest in flying and good views should do a discovery flight at an affordable price that is worth the experience. Invermere has to be one of the top places in the world for gliding.

I met Trevor, the owner of the Invermere Soaring Centre, at least years ago while in New Zealand to fly gliders in the mountains there. Ever since, I have been looking forward to an opportunity to soar in the Canadian Rockies. I had a reason to travel somewhat nearby and jumped at the opportunity to share a cockpit with Trevor. Invermere Soaring Centre offers am amazing experience soaring above the Rockies. The thermals take you up and then you experience amazing views of the ridgelines above the Rockies. I would highly recommend this silent flight.
