If I could give them zero stars I would...... The treatment I received from Invercargill Medical has been disgusting. The doc I last seen was more interested in staring at his computer screen and chewing gum to take a interest in my issues. My experience with the clinic overall is that it runs like a court. Actually that's being disrespectful to a court. Not many friendly staff, nurses don't get enough information before contacting patients to inform them of what the doctor wants. I found on their info regarding the place a Message re clinic experiencing longer wait times because of illness of staff. I feel if that true it's probably because of stress within the work place. Absolutely useless, go elsewhere.
Admins DO NOT convey information properly at all! There is a new receptionist, Tamsyn, she is absolutely lovely though, and helped me over the phone. Was suppose to have an appointment which they said was Telehealth which I believed that meant they ring my cellphone. Waited an hour and a half and decided to text them wondering what was going on. Was told there was miscommunication by staff. Next available appointment 4 days away, how ridiculous.
Very unprofessional, been into the doctors 4 times in 4 weeks had blood tests done, I rung up to speak about results which come back fine I tried to book another appointment and explained I am very unwell and unable to work because of this. The response i got was that they are too busy "you should just sign up to the dole".... this is a breach of DUTY OF CARE which is a ethical and legal obligation this is deemed malpractice
