Grew up in inuvik, had mental health crisis’ since I was 11 to 16 and the hospital is terrible at dealing with this. I had to deal with a mental health crisis with my aunt on the phone while I live in Vancouver and the hospital was not willing to help her until the day (days) after even if she had nowhere safe to stay. This is absolutely disgusting behaviour from staff and it shouldn’t be this hard to receive mental health services.
