Made a mistake. I had a 1031 exchange as my deposit and he assumed I did not want to use all of that money for my deposit. Now I have to pay 20% capital gains on the extra money in the 1031 exchange. He is very sorry about the misunderstanding and has did everything he could to make up for the loss. If Jason had only asked a question and taken the time to review the loan with his customer, they would not have made the mistake
