After posting my review regarding the deceptive mailer and the lack of support, I was contacted by Interval and they were very helpful and understanding of my situation. Interval International entices members to deposit their timeshare weeks through deceptive mailers. Although their mailer offers a certificate without any specific requirements beyond the date that the deposit must be made they will refuse to honor their mailer. I highly encourage anyone to call them if you'd like to deposit your week instead of following their instructions to use the website. Last September we got an annual membership which came with certificates for free exchange time. Due to COVID we could not use any of the certificates. We wanted to try and use one this September but it says our annual membership will expire during the trip. I contacted them and they said their policy for COVID to not make adjustments for anyone.
