I reached out here because I wanted help and the man who answered the phone started arguing with me over how I was not really being abused because "I was an adult" an "I could leave anytime and needed to get a job." Twice this happened with him. I ask him for his name because it's inappropriate to debate the validity of someone's DV situation when I'm coming to them for help.
