Worst hotel experience ever The worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The minute you walk in you know you are going to have a terrible experience. The staff was far from helpful; they acted as if they were doing you a favor for DOING THEIR JOB. When we did finally get a room, the stench hit you as soon as you open the door. Then, it was difficult to even sit on the bed because you were worried you would get bed-bugs. DISGUSTING AND HORRIBLE This was the worst experience of my life...I was in town for a Story Telling Festival, The room was "HORRIBLE'...The room was "DISGUSTING".Let me explain, the rooom had a stench as soon as you walked in the door, there was a wall that looked as tho someone had thru up on it. The drapes at the window should have had ten hooks, but it only had six per panal, the furniture was so scrached, and marred that it was only fitted for junk. Hotel OK - Staff totally obnoxious Made the mistake of staying here once and it will never happen again. It was in a convenient location to what we were doing in that area, but the price of convenience was too high. They don't allow pets and they're obnoxious about it at check in even if you tell them you don't intend to take the dog in the room. Our hunting dogs stay crated in our vehicle when we go out of town in cool weather. When we walked the dogs before bed, they sent out someone to watch us to make sure we didn't take... read more
