Bring water and lanterns! Everything else is just as other reviewers describe - an old, historic cabin with no electricity, no bathroom, and no running water. The hikes nearby are great, and the trailhead means you’ll see some cars in the parking lot next to the cabin between about 10 AM and 6 PM. The propane heater and stove work great, but the gas lanterns don’t provide much light inside the cabin (some are broken).
This was my first time checking this spot out. The hike around the cabin is super short but you get a great view of the river.
