I did a lot of research before approaching IHS. I knew broadly what I was looking for and during the consultation with Richard, everything he said matched up with my research. He provided additional information that was helpful to understand about hair loss. The conclusion was to have laser light treatment and a hair transplant. The service i paid for (red light and minoxidil) i paid tenfold for. Minoxidil is found very cheaply online and you can get a red light cap very cheaply. A bit of a scam preying on people in a desperate situation. If you've only just started losing your hair, go to a real doctor and discuss your options. This place preys on men who are desperate.
A huge thank you to IHS, very informative staff, no issues throughout and a good location. 6 months of laser therapy, a hair transplant and there's been a huge improvement.
I have only but praise for IHS. The staff in the Reading branch were welcoming and professional, they always made me feel at ease and well looked after. Richard whom I had the initial consultation with was particularly helpful and kind, answering all the questions I had and explaining things multiple times if needed. I started having hair loss due to medication and weight loss it did not bother me in the beginning but is started to go really bad. At one point I was getting so worried that I couldn't even part my hair. I found Richard and Chelsea and went for a quick appointment. After a quick chat I decided to start the laser treatment. I now can see quite the difference. I think the photos show better then I can describe. Left is day one, then 3 and 6 months into treatment. Thanks for your help and support ☺️
