International Piping Systems is a full-service mechanical contractor based in Schaumburg, Ill. Founded in 1979, the company s stated goal is to make its customers mechanical systems an invisible part of their business operations. The company s construction division performs HVAC installations and upgrades in commercial, industrial, educational, government and health care facilities. The service and controls division offers diagnostic analysis and evaluation and HVAC service. International Piping Systems belongs to the American Society of Health Care Engineering and the Mechanical Contractors Association of America. IPS opened a Merrillville, Ind., office in 1997.
