Probably the biggest Scam ever. You pay money to be treated like dirt
I attended this Academy and was part of unit 68. I did basic training and second phase. Plane to go back soon! I thot I was a strong guy in mind and body. I thot I was a solid Christian. After Basic training I found I was a weak leader. I struggled In uplifting the other guys in the hard times. I was a weak man. I was prideful and argent! Your true colors show in hard times!! It's a cult. The REAL Army and ROTC are more Christian than this place. In the REAL Army, if one squad member fails, the sergeant fails everyone until all the members learn to work together. At Big Sandy, if a member fails, he has to stand out in the elements as the DI harangues him for not having enough faith while the rest of the squad eats breakfast in the barracks. Then when the member gets back to the barracks, the squad members destined to get the "Personal Excellence" Ribbon curse at and belittle the member and refuse... read more
