Today, I visited the IRS office to discuss a letter I received regarding a proposed amount due from the Department of the Treasury, Internal Revenue Service. Unfortunately, the representative assisting me seemed unfamiliar with the matter and admitted, "We don’t get trained for this." This raises the question of why someone would be assigned to the front desk without adequate training to handle basic inquiries. First time I owed taxes, so I was told to sign up with EFTPS to pay through them. Mistake worst experience ever, they made it really difficult. Spoke with a rude /disrespectful Customer Associate named Crystal & then her supervisor Jazmine which was worse. One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. Nowonder why people don’t pay their taxes. She lied me multiple times. They do not explain anything to you. I suggest paying directly to the IRS
