Lady that answered was extremely rude. Got a letter in the mail and wasn’t sure what it was about so I called the number. From the very beginning she was rude. I explained to her that I received this letter and simply asked what it was about since the letter itself was very vague which I understand because it seems to be confidential. She rudely told me to look up the address and company and hung up on me. Very unprofessional!

On June 25, 2025, I visited the IRS office at 1:00 PM to resolve a tax issue. I was told I needed an appointment. Jason M. scheduled one for August 14 at 11:00 AM (proof attached). On August 14, I arrived at 10:52 AM . The same security officer who had previously acted rude and dismissive greeted me again—this time informing me, with a mocking tone, that they were closing at 11:00 AM for staff training. Agent took 20 minutes to answer one question and double check a phone number. Not really sure what services they offer here but I was simply told to keep calling the 800 until it stops hanging up on me. Totally trial and error, no resolution, no guidance other than “idk just keep calling until you get through… sorry.” I will say that it seems she *tried* to look into something, but wasn’t exactly super friendly. Sounded bored, uninterested, and annoyed to be there. Maybe not the most professional.
