I am a victim of employment identity theft and the local IRS office would not investigate before telling me to pay a balance. I made an appointment in person to get better help, and they did not do anything about it, they just were more concerned about what I owe.
We filed our taxes a year ago and nothing is happening with our refund that is OWED to us. No letters sent to us requesting more information, every time I call and think I got somewhere, I’ll call back and it’s like I’m back at square 0. All I know is, God forbid I owed money, they would be knocking my door down for it back. This is one of the worst companies I’ve ever experienced.
