The automated system is an absolute failure. Reaching a real human being is effectively impossible, which appears to be by design rather than accident. My tax return has been listed as “under review” since January. It is now September. That is not a delay — that is negligence. This is currently not open.It has been closed since the start of the COVID concerns. You MUST call or go online for assistance or through an area CPA. It was a one man run operation. Felix was WONDERFUL but also retirement age. It is not expected that he will be back. I miss going to this office to make regular payments. They were helpful. The whole floor (7th), which is the IRS, cannot be reached in this building by elevator or stairs.
