I will be living full time in our motor home By this Fall. Being called a transient is insulting! We retired and sold 2 houses so we could see the country. I don’t understand how a practice can discriminate against a person just because they haven’t lived in one spot for 6 months. I’ve never heard of that. If I move to a new city and live in a sticks and brick house and become sick 2 months later you people would refuse to treat me? I wonder what the Arizona Medical Board would say about that!!!! Maybe I’ll have to send them... read more
Any Dr who refuses a patient due to their living situation shouldn't be practising medicine. If the patient has paying insurance or offers to pay out of pocket then why does it matter if they live in a house or a mobile home?
It is always disappointing to encounter individuals in the helping professions that do not care for people without bias for socioeconomics, housing situations, etc. Whether a prince or a pauper, quality healthcare with dignity should be rendered to every client.
They don’t accept “transient” patients, such as people who live in RV’s. Total discrimination.
Horrible practice with a horrible doctor!! if they really cared about people even ones living in an Rv they would have treated the patient the same as anyone else living in a house. I travel all the time so this makes me sick!
Turning away patients based on their living situation is shameful. “First, do no harm” - I think not.
you need to be turned in for violation of your oath to provide care to people no matter what! disgusting
