Who is not alarmed by Orwellian bureaucracy and Doublespeak? “Cayuga Primary Care” is typical managed care, health itself secondary. Finance and record culture for the purpose of billing is primary. Its logoed Community Corners site is apparently part of the corporate building boom licensed by City Hall. This went from being the best medical care I have received, to the WORST medical care I have received. The bedside manner and quality of care has fallen fast after Dr. Cotton retired and Nurse Kelly left. They treat ANY display of fear or frustration as an inconvenience and they shamed me for it. I went to the doctor with hope and came out with shame. I'll never go back.
This was quite literally the worst doctors appointment I have ever had. Dr. Napit was condescending, rude and talked to me like I was stupid for the medication I’ve been on for years. She demanded that I return to “the standard medication” even though I explained that I WAS on the standard many years ago and the side effects were why I was on my current medication(issue free for five years) but she was adamant that she would not prescribe anything else and if I didn’t like it, than too bad. I have been connected with CMA primary care on Henshaw Road for at least 10 years this year since my primary care provider, Jillan kelly is no longer a provider have not received the greatest experience not able to get through on nurses or doctors to prescribe or refill my medication when called. I’m put on hold for Hours or hung up on. Thinking about switching Doctors’s offices not having a great experience after my 10 years of being a patient.
When you have to wait on hold for a ridiculous amount of time, it is just NOT acceptable!!! Tired of the excuses, the promises, its exhausting!! I love my Primary but who gets to see him??? I put in a call with a medical issue, Monday morning. It is now Friday evening and the start of the weekend, , WITH NO RESPONSE!!!
