Had a very important issue and was told I need a referral from primary. Cayuga Primary books out weeks and months in advance for your own Doctor but they said I could see someone same day, they booked the appointment 2-3 hours from that moment. Went home after a long day at work and then, came all the way back to the office. When I came back at the time they told me 4:15 they said the appointment was gone and they booked it under someone else's name and they could no longer see me.
I had a great experience visiting my primary care physician. Elaina and Ashley at the front desk were absolutely wonderful, helpful and so kind. They greeted me warmly when I arrived, helped check me in quickly and efficiently and were very helpful answering all my questions. I have had great experiences every time I visit my primary care physician because everyone in the office is so nice and easy to work with. Who is not alarmed by Orwellian bureaucracy and Doublespeak? “Cayuga Primary Care” is typical managed care, health itself secondary. Finance and record culture for the purpose of billing is primary. Its logoed Community Corners site is apparently part of the corporate building boom licensed by City Hall. This went from being the best medical care I have received, to the WORST medical care I have received. The bedside manner and quality of care has fallen fast after Dr. Cotton retired and Nurse Kelly left. They treat ANY display of fear or frustration as an inconvenience and they shamed me for it. I went to the doctor with hope and came out with shame. I'll never go back.
