I’ve been here a few times and it is usually an ok experience. This last experience I had a copper iud placed and it was more painful than giving childbirth. They do not offer any pain meds for the procedure except an ibuprofen and a warm pack. Afterwards I was shaking from the pain, and had to limp to my car with the help of my partner. Luckily they were there because I could not drive with the intense pain. The pain lasted well over an hour when I got home.
