I had an incredibly distressing experience with Biskamp and Maria Hoffman. I refuse to call them "doctor" because that title should be reserved for professionals who actually know what they're doing, not for those who turned my delivery into a circus act! All of the "doctors" at this practice advertise themselves as high-risk pregnancy specialists. Dr Deleon is amazing and saved my life and my baby’s life. I cannot recommend her enough!
All I was there for was a pregnancy test and a referral for a dating ultrasound to get a confirmed due date. The nurse was nice but confused about me declining the 'standard procedures' like weight and vitals. The dr was a bit rude, I wasn't there for anything other than pregnancy test and a referral so there's no need to do anything else. My weight is irrelevant for my visit, it does not determine whether my pregnancy test will be positive or not. I have had nothing but amazing experiences at this clinic. We drive from Aurora to Superior just to go to this clinic because they always make me feel so comfortable. Even during some really scary moments, they reassured me and took great care of me. The whole team. I have not met one person at this clinic who wasn’t patient and kind. I’m also kind of the worst at getting blood drawn and they had cute pictures of dogs on the wall to look at and distract me. Nurse Pamela Brunette was grumpy, rude and judgmental. This review is for a standard, well-woman visit. I can't imagine the betrayal I'd feel if I was treated this poorly when going through a major health event. The office itself is nice and convenient if you live nearby ...
