Released my now deceased mother all too soon from the ICU despite severe health issues that led to her death in the even more negligent Cedar Rehab. Sometimes the staff are nice, sometimes they're rude as Hell and uncaring. You take a gamble when you go here. They don't listen EVER when a nearly deaf 76 year old tells them he needs them to speak up because he is hard of hearing and nearly deaf. We have been on the er alot this year and the pa kim is such a horrible pa she doesn't listen to the patient but will listen to the family as they give the wrong information and then when your in agonizing pain she wont even help she does the wrong tests and they will never figure out what is actually wrong and she sent us home in pain more than once. I feel she needs to be let go she is the worst pa I have ever seen.
I have had the unfortunate experience of going to this ER multiple times. Most nurses are great and there's about 1 decent PA/NP/Dr. I have been in the biggest pain of my life writhing on the waiting room floor. Still to this day I don't know what it was from. All they wanted from me was urine to check for drugs. I couldn't so they decided to provide more pain by shoving a tube up my urethra. Oh, and pain meds, forget it! I do not understand the bad reviews on here. This place was absolutely fantastic! I am from Ohio. We do not have people who are this kind and empathetic in our hospitals. I came in because of edema set on by a lot of traveling. (BIG family road trip!) I digress. I came in, reception was friendly and got me back right away. When I went back, every single person I came in contact with was understanding and tried their best to help me along as quickly as possible.
