AVOID this company and its owner Wayne Denman!! We are truly disappointed in our experience with Wayne. Our basement renovation has in 3 months only reached the early drywall stage of what should be a 7-8 week project. After another month of waiting for an update we were told to finish the project ourselves. We have learned since, that Wayne has not been paying the subcontractors. Bought multiple prehung doors from this company. I was assured they only sell a quality products and the person building prehung doors has been doing it for 30 years. Got my door, installed them, got them sprayed and at the time I went to install door handles, I found out all the holes are wrong. Wrong setback and wrong alignment between 1” and 2” hole. Can’t install a single door handle. I reached out to them (I believe Wayne) multiple ways, messages got read and crickets. Got ghosted.
In January of 2024 we signed a contract with Interiors with Elegance to complete a full renovation of our home. We paid an initial deposit and started picking out selections. They did meet with us on the start date on May 15 and collected a deposit totalling 175 000. They started some light demo and hired an asbestos company to remove the drywall for affected areas. We have had good results with Interiors in the past. Projects in 2000 and 2013 were very successful. Our latest experience has not been good. In September 2023 we agreed on a project that they said would be started "soon". We were told they needed a 50% deposit of $23,000. Months then went by with no work done. Supposedly scheduled multiple times but then nothing happened.
