Interim HealthCare and Hospice of Temple, TX was wonderful to my dad. Donna, his hospice nurse, cared for him with empathy, compassion and so much patience. She was responsive to texts, phone calls and questions. Donna, thank you for sharing your gift with us at a very difficult time.
Bring back Amber Gutierrez, my wife's nurse. Since my wife heard she was told Amber would no longer be my wife nurse she has been in tears, not eating because a person Marlena told her she would just discharge my wife since she was not accepting any other nurse. Since my wife has started with this company from Temple, she has seen multiple nurses and was not treated as well as she was with Amber. Toxic management. Marketers and field staff are amazing but management is unknowledgeable and vindictive. I wrote an email about a hostile work environment and not even 1 response. Was sexually assaulted by a male patient and was laughed at by the director saying “you know how those dirty old men can be.” Then screwed me when I put in my PRN notice. Still employed but refusing to let me see any people when they are dying for help which means poor patient care. 10/10 do not recommend until they clean house with the toxicity.
I give a 5 ★ only for a certain nurse Amber. The care she provided the 1st time I met her was genuine. She took time to listen to my needs and was very knowledgeable with my questions and concerns. She's gentle with me and very passionate. Because of Amber, I continue the care with Interim! She's the best!! Addition to why I changed my 5 star to a 1. Went through quite a revolving door of nurses during the time I was under the care of Interim's Temple location. In my opinion, management does not seem to be supportive of their nursing staff or their needs.
