Specific to the surgery center Suite 100, my precedure today was perfect. Efficient friendly check in, thorough and kind pre-op, warm greetings and information from all staff taking part in my procedure, and kind caring "welcome back" from anesthsia in post-op. And of course Dr. Dreyer was the consumate professional. The people were the best part of this procedure.
I waited 1 hr and 45 mins before I left without seeing the doctor. That's beyond my limit.
So I request an appointment with Dr Reichel, and to be clear, I have no direct issue with him as I never met him. My appointment I waited a month for, which I scheduled, which I was told (after giving my insurance info) that their facility accepts that insurance...was not accepted when I arrived. I took the day off work and drove almost an hour, to be denied at the 11th hour. My disgust with this place is at another level currently. I offered to pay in full, cash, prior to even seeing the doctor. Denied.
Dr. Rahal - nice guy but this is a VERY VERY BAD BUSINESS. The surgery center here doesn't provide itemized receipts showing what was done, which makes it impossible to get reimbursed if you're part of a health-share group. So, unfortunately, I had to leave the entire Intercoastal Medical Group and all the doctors there. They lost a customer who would have paid many tens of thousands of dollars over many years to them - all because they can't provide a simple receipt. Is that even legal?? AVOID until they fix this.
