I can't say anything bad about Dr. Collins is a very proud doctor and very proud of his own work and he has every right to be and I would not want to see any of orthopedic besides him. I had torn my meniscus and was in extreme pain i brought my disc in from the mri and when he can in the room he used modeles of the knee to explain everything to me and so my 15year old son could understand as well. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Collins and the staff at Orthopedic Center of Venice. I had issues with a rotator cuff tear and after conferring with Dr. Collins, and after discussing options, we both agreed that surgery was the best solution for my condition. I only had the surgery two months ago and am already well on my way to a full recovery with very little pain and discomfort. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME! My Mother visited him this past Monday via referral from Dr. Frankel. She told Dr Frankel he she was an intense pain he said he was unable to prescribe any painkillers which is a lie he just doesn't want to. So two weeks later she goes to this doctor Collins who knows that she's an intense pain because she treated her at the hospital. She has a broken ankle, and a left knee that's bone on bone. I recently had an appointment for foot X-rays here, and I was thoroughly impressed. The medical assistant, Melissa, was exceptionally friendly and efficient, making the checking in process smooth and comfortable. She had genuine concern for my issues. Dr. Collins was attentive and took the time to explain things clearly, addressing all of my concerns with patience. The entire team made my experience as positive as possible. Highly recommend this practice for orthopedic care!
