my neurologist and his office are absolutely amazing. however, my experiences outside of Hyde Park neurology have been poor. the receptionist for rheumatology was very rude to me on the phone. when I clarified the purpose of my referral, she repeated what she had just told me in an extremely condescending tone, then hung up abruptly with no "goodbye" or anything when I thanked her. the gynecologist I saw asked disrespectful and invasive questions about my PTSD diagnosis, which was not at all relevant to the appointment. Very hard office to get in touch with. The front desk and receptionist are Very abrupt. Staff makes You feel unease. You can't reach your doctor. Not a good office for a PCP. Loved my PCP. I will follow her.

All I wanted to do was get established with a primary care physician. The rudeness and attitude of the lady who called to set up the appointment was unnecessary. I told her which insurance I had, but I didn’t have my card on me at that moment. In a snarky tone she said, “Let me explain something to you.” I work for a very large employer in the area, and every other medical office I’ve ever worked with knew if my employer’s plan was one they accepted.
