Intercity Lumber is the best "hardware" and lumber store in Florida. They have just about every type of tool and lumber. We drove 2 hours because of their selection, pricing and customer service. In particular, Walt at the front counter and Matthew in the loading area were so helpful. Both very friendly, yet professional. FYI, the loaders are not allowed to tie down your wood, understandably (liability issues) but they will load it anyway you would like. Love this place! Matt in the warehouse is so knowledgeable and helpful. We always leave with more wood than we were originally hunting for. Everyone is so helpful and friendly and we always leave with a smile. Cannot beat the lumber quality or the prices.
Big fan of Walt, Jose, and the others who keep the lights on at Intercity Lumber! Their hardwood selection is excellent and their pricing more than fair. I've been buying lumber from them for 15 years now and I can't say that I've ever been mistreated. I've always left with what I came for and, on the rare occasion an honest mistake is made, they fix it without any hesitation. I'll continue giving them my business because they "get it."
